Meghan and Chris
Are getting hitched!

Our Story

I became close with Meg during our senior year of high school. I asked her if I could copy her calculus homework before class and she said “sure”. The rest is history.
She’s the catch of a lifetime, and I knew from the beginning that I had to hang on to her. She’s my best friend with an appetite for adventure greater than my own. I’m head over heels for her and I can’t wait to begin this next chapter in our lives!
- Chris’s Story

Chris and I go way back to the days at Cobbles Elementary School. We reconnected a few years later in 2008 as seniors in high school. With a little help from our friends, Chris decided to ask me to be his date for the Senior Ball. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I admire his genuine personality, creative eye, and passion for travel. I’m ready to take on the world with him by my side. He’s the love of my life and I’m excited for whatever life brings our way!

Bridesmaids
Laura Bonanno
Laura is one of the most sincere, reliable, and passionate girls you will ever meet. Her fun-loving spirit is contagious, and I’ve never met a person that doesn’t love being around her.
Laura is more than a cousin to me, she is my best friend and sidekick. She is the closest thing I’ve ever had to a sister. We have the same laugh, same nose and same sense of humor. If you ask us, our inside jokes and irrelevant stories never get old. Our relationship is a true gift. As little girls, we made a vow that we would be each others Maid of Honor in our weddings. I am so glad we made this pact (10+ years ago), because I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have as my MOH than her. I couldn’t imagine my life without her!
Lauren Roberts
Lauren has a warm-heart and calm demeanor about her. For that very reason, Lauren has always been my “go-to” person for advice. She has a way of helping people to see the world through a different lense. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank her enough for all the love and support she has given me throughout the years.
As my older cousin, I’ve always looked up to Lauren. I wanted to do everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that she did. I don’t know what it is, but there is something special about her. She was the one we all wanted to be like. Oh yeah and I can’t forget to mention that she is one heck of a baker. If you ever get a chance, ask to try her cake bites They are to die for! I’m so glad to have her by my side during this exciting time.
Sarah Larkin
This girl is the most passionate Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan I know. I mean my Mom is her Godmother after all. She knows her sports and teaches me how to be a true fan.
We have always shared a love for dance and Broadway musicals. Sarah is the one who convinced me to try out for the Cortland Kickline team. Without a doubt, Sarah will be the first one on and the last one off the dance floor. She gets the party started (don't let me down Sarry!). We always seem to find a way to laugh and dance the night away at any family function. I'm grateful for these memories. Can't wait to dance the night away with this bridesmaid!
Jenna Larkin
Yes, you guessed it, Jenna is another one of my cousins. We are a family dominated by girls! Jenna is known as the free-spirited one who is up for any adventure. Just ask her about hiking the peaks of Lake George. She has traveled to more exotic places (and planted more trees) than I could ever imagine.
As the closest in age, Jenna and I have always shared a special bond as cousins. During our sleepovers, which we still have during Lake George week, Jenna can be found silently giggling at our stupid jokes, eating Mac & Cheese, or playing her beloved ukulele. I admire Jenna for her easy-going and adventurous personality. I only hope that one day I can be as "chill" as her. I'm proud to call her one of my "Hurley Girlies."
Brittney Reed
Brittney and I met our freshman year at SUNY Cortland in 2008. We lived the same floor and became fast friends. I can’t tell you how many times Brittney and I were mistaken for twins during our four years together. The funny thing is, Brittney really does have an identical twin sister named Brenna. Of course we occasionally tried to pass as triplets. Why wouldn’t we?!
Although Brittney and I live miles apart, we always find a way to visit each other and pick up right where we’ve left off. That’s the beauty of our friendship. Brittney is one of my truest friends. I can always count on her to listen and give me advice whenever I need it. She is getting married a month after me, and I am so very excited that we are able to share our special days with each other.
Nicole Prinzi
Nicole and I were freshman orientation roommates at SUNY Cortland. We quickly learned we were from neighboring towns in Rochester. Small world! That was not the only thing we had in common; we were housemates for three years, Speech-Language Pathology majors, and dance team members. I am a true believer of fate, and it was fate that brought us together as friends back in the summer of 2008.
Nicole is, and always will be a special friend to me. She just gets me. Whether it’s giving fashion tips, sharing life advice, or lending a listening ear, I can always count on Nicole to be there for me. We’ve been each other’s biggest supporters throughout all of the many milestones we’ve encountered together. I am so happy to have her as one of my bridesmaids.
Megan Donovan
Megan is Chris’ sister and my future sister-in-law. She is honestly one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. I am thankful for the friendship that we’ve made over these past couple of years. I can always count on her to share a good laugh with me as we discuss the infamous Chris-isms.All good things of course! ;-)
We still haven’t figured out the perfect way to differentiate between our names at family functions, but that doesn't matter to me. It's something we will always have in common. She was the original Meg(h)an Hurley and I hope I can live up to the name. I can’t wait until I can officially refer to her as my sister!
Groomsmen
Dave Buechel
I've known Dave since the 7th grade, back when he was king of the Pop Warner football league. Although he has stayed the same size ever since, he managed to put together a pretty decent high school football career. Deciding to stay local with me when college rolled around, we moved in together the summer of 2009. It stayed that way until the spring of 2014. We know way too much about each other.
Dave's an avid outdoorsman...that is when he's not taking care of his dog, Shiva (aka Sheila). He's been a part of countless fishing/kayaking/camping trips with me over the years. He sometimes out-fishes me, but when you've learned from the best that's to be expected.
Currently a Tax Accountant for Carestream Health in Rochester, Dave's a small guy with a giant heart (and great hair) and I could not be happier to call him one of my best men.
Joe Cicero
I met Joe on the first day of modified football practice in 7th grade. He was rocking jean shorts, a shell necklace, rolled up sleeves, and frosty tips. You can Google "frosty tips" if you don't know what they are. Even though he looked like he belonged in a '90s boy band back then, we became brothers. Totally inseparable.
Joe lives in Boston now, but I manage to talk to him every day via Google Chat. It somehow makes cubicle life a little more manageable. We're going to start a business together someday, we just don't know what it is yet.
Currently an Associate at a management consulting firm in downtown Boston, Joe is one of the most ambitious and dedicated people I know. He's a great friend and I'm proud to call him one of my best men.
Matt Malloy
Ohh Malloy. There's not nearly enough room on this website to even scratch the surface on this guy. Everybody loves Malloy. Everybody's parents love Malloy.
I've known Matt for years, but we really became close when he was 16 and I was 15. Because he was the first to get his driver's license out of all of our friends, he used to drive us everywhere in his minivan that we nicknamed The Silver Bullet. Like Joe and Dave, Malloy was part of the inaugural group to live in the infamous "House of Pain" our sophomore years of college.
One to always greet you with a "sup big guy?" and the stupidest, most contagious shit-eating grin you'll ever see, Malloy now lives and works in Denver, CO as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. He's one determined dude bound to reach the top of his profession. I've got nothing but love for the guy; he was an easy pick to be one of my best men.
Kevin Randall
Kevin is a longtime friend of mine, and the one I like to brag about most. An All-American defenseman for the University of Notre Dame lacrosse team, Kev's a freak athlete with an even more freakish brain. I remember in high school he used to take naps on his desk during important exams, wake up with 20 minutes left, blast through the test, and end up with the best grade in the class.
A member of the House of Pain from 2012-2014, Kevin is currently a Structural Engineer for Erdman Anthony in Rochester. I can't wait to watch him bust some sick moves out on the dance floor. And yes, ladies, he is single. In fact most of my groomsmen are. Have at them.
Brian Shiltz
That's my quarterback. Like all the rest of these guys, I played football with Brian for many years growing up. We spent a lot of time in his parent's basement (aka The Swamp) watching game film and battling it out in Guitar Hero.
The thing I love most about Shiltz is that he's always up for whatever. He's a true hedonist that can't say no. Tell him to jump and he'll almost always ask "how high?".
Brian is currently an Investment Banking Analyst at Oppenheimer in NYC. He's a brilliant guy that's a ton of fun to be around, and I'm excited to have him as a part of my wedding.
Billy Langston
Bill is by far my longest tenured amigo. We've been besties since the third grade. He introduced me to Lou Bega's "Mambo #5" and Eiffel 65's "I'm Blue" -- That's how far back our friendship goes.
He's a wild man with a sense of humor like no other, but also the most driven person I've ever been around. He sets goals and hits them. If you need proof, he's currently an Athletic Trainer with the New England Patriots, working with the likes of Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady.
I have the utmost respect for the guy, and we all know it's not a party unless Bill is there. I'm excited to share my wedding day with him.
Zach Cicero
Believe it or not, Zach is Joe's little brother. There ain't nothing little about him, however. Once a linebacker for the University of Rochester, Zach still eats babies for breakfast to maintain the size of his arms.
I've known Z just as long as I've known Joe. He's the adventurous one out of the two, and I've always secretly liked him better because of that... As the younger brother I never had, we've shared many fishing trips and countless laughs together. An Analyst at Citibank in Buffalo, Z's the goofiest guy around and I'm excited to have him be a part of my big day.
